Jubilee Challenge

Content is edited
Welcome to the Jubilee Challenge! This starts from tomorrow (Mon 9th April) and goes through to midnight on the last Jubilee bank holiday (Tues 5th June) - so 8 weeks and 1 day.

In that time I have lots of time away from class including (hopefully) a holiday. Am intending to stick to plan though. My personal target for this challenge is 14 lbs - and that would take me to goal!!!

Anyone fancy joining me in this challenge? Just reply to this thread and say what your target is and then come on and update. Your target could be weight related, or fitness related or clothing related, or whatever suits you. I'll try to keep track of everything and summarise where we are as a group. Good luck everyone!

Edited to say that you are welcome to join this challenge after it starts - just add a post with your target and go for it!

WOW! :o) Doesn't that just look amazing! Look at what we have all achieved. x

I started Lighter Life 10th April 2012, by December 2012 I had lost 10 stone. Since January 2013 I've really struggled and put it back on loads of weight so not sure what I'm going to do next. But it's a journey & this is just the next chapter. x

  4. RE: Jubilee Challenge

Well, that's week one with three lots of exercise done. Just realised that my holiday will fall in this period so I'll have to make sure I get the three exercise sessions in whilst I'm away. Swimming and floor work will be achievable, will have to think of other ways too.

OOPS, posted this on the wrong thread. Doh!

  5. RE: Jubilee Challenge

Hi weasey, well done on your 0lbs to lose - how fantastic is that! Well I am back from Florida and have been for my weigh in today and I have gained 3lb. I knew I had put a few pounds on and am happy that it isn't more than that but it does mean I definitely did not meet my challenge for the Jubilee.

I started back on total properly today so I will take part in any future challenges and hope to meet them. Thanks for all your hard work and the amount people have lost is just brilliant. Well done to you all. Jill x

  9. RE: Jubilee Challenge

Hi Weasey, my final weigh in for the Jubilee challenge tonight (as we missed Tuesday, no class). I lost 2 lbs this week, which means I hit my challenge target, and in fact lost an extra lb so I am very happy!!! Thanks for all your hard work. Now for the Olympic challenge...!!
